The power of testimonies

Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. (Psalms 119:111)

The power in testimonies can never be overemphasized. When you testify, it gives honour to God and He is more delighted to bless you again and again. It is those who take time to testify that rise from one level to another.

The Psalmist in the scripture says he took the testimonies as an inheritance. He kept a portfolio of the testimonies, meditated and spoke about them regularly. They became the rejoicing of his heart.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Revelation 12:11)

They overcame the enemy by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony.

Testimonies are weapons of warfare.

You have to remember everything The Lord has done for you and regularly speak about it. Most are ungrateful, soon after God has done something for them they are already on the next level of complaining. There will always be things to complain about and things to be grateful for. Which side do you stand- complaining or grateful?

It’s your time to overcome, it’s your time to conquer and prevail in this world.You are here today because of the grace of God, celebrate this grace. Whatever you go through,

Romans 8:37 tells us, “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Your victory is certain, take time to celebrate and worship God. You are more than a conqueror in that job, marriage, financial situation, national crisis and sickness.

I pray for you today that you find joy in your testimonies. That your life will rise to new dimensions as you testify and honor God for all he has done this far.
