Some people make gods with their hands and worship them. But idols are not able to do anything that God can do. They can’t think, feel or act. But the Lord in Heaven knows all about you, thinks of you and loves you.
Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. These fruits are not for show, they are for sharing with others.
You can go to church, read your Bible, and pray every day, yet not love God as you should. Loving God is a commitment and a heart attitude that results in obedience.
You have a choice. You can experience the short-term satisfaction of retaliating and get into trouble with God for doing it, or show mercy and kindness and be rewarded by God for doing it.
If you’re an organized, time-conscious, purpose-driven, make-it-happen kind of person you can get upset with incompetence and low productivity in others.
You can’t be happy without being joyful, but you can be joyful without being happy! How’s that possible? Jesus had previously told His disciples that we enjoy a love which transcends all others
