Financial Prosperity is not a gift, it’s a product of covenant practices

Summary:

Your prosperity is not only for you but is also meant to improve the lives of your household, your parents, your neighbors and the kingdom of God.

Tithing:

This is the covenant foundation for financial fortune. It is also the first fruit that makes the balance meaningful. As it is written:
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it” (Malachi 3:10; Leviticus 27:30).

  1. Devoured is rebuked
  2. Open windows of heaven hence blessings a poured out to you.

Thus, tithes remains a covenant obligation for financial fortune. We must understand that our tithe is not a donation; rather, it is part of our spiritual responsibility. The truth is, any believer who is not a tither will remain a financial struggler. This is because it is impossible to be in command of financial fortune without being a tither.

Firstfruits:

It is your Divine Comprehensive Insurance for the whole year. It is also written: “Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine” (Proverbs 3:9-10).

Freewill offering:

Normal Offering. It’s a must. For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.

2 Corinthians 8:12 NIV “Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me! “But you ask, ‘What do you mean? When did we ever cheat you?’ “You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me. Malachi 3:8 NLT  Take a sacred offering for the Lord . Let those with generous hearts present the following gifts to the Lord : gold, silver, and bronze; Exodus 35:5 NLT

Welfare offering:

Giving to the less privileged. If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord — and he will repay you!

Proverbs 19:17 NLT Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.

Galatians 6:10 NLT

Prophet offering:

It is appreciating God for His grace upon the Prophet.

It is a commandment in acknowledgement of your being blessed through the prophet “Anyone who receives you receives me, and anyone who receives me receives the Father who sent me.  If you receive a prophet as one who speaks for God, you will be given the same reward as a prophet. And if you receive righteous people because of their righteousness, you will be given a reward like theirs.  And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded.” Matthew 10:40‭-‬42 NLT.

-If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you? 1 Corinthians 9:11 NIV

—  They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings. Romans 15:27 NIV

Project offering:

God can with hold your projects if don’t give his a priority. Now go up into the hills, bring down timber, and rebuild my house. Then I will take pleasure in it and be honored, says the Lord . You hoped for rich harvests, but they were poor. And when you brought your harvest home, I blew it away. Why? Because my house lies in ruins, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, while all of you are busy building your own fine houses. It’s because of you that the heavens withhold the dew and the earth produces no crops.  Haggai 1:8NLT (Giving towards God’s projects quickens yours Harvest 1:8‭-‬10 NLT)    It took Solomon twenty years to build the Lord ’s Temple and his own royal palace. At the end of that time, 2 Chronicles 8:1 NLT
