You can’t see God because there’s nothing to see. Jesus told the Samaritan woman, “God is Spirit” (John 4:24); and a spirit has no flesh or material substance to see. But still people want to see God
God dispenses His goodness not with an eyedropper, but with a fire hydrant; not with a teacup, but with the Pacific Ocean. You simply can’t contain it.
The more time you spend in God’s Word, the more you begin to reflect His likeness. But it won’t happen by just grabbing a verse here and there or skimming through a passage. No, it calls for renewing your mind every day!

GUIDELINES FOR PERSONAL PRAYER SESSIONS
- Schedule a daily time for prayer.
- Prepare a set-apart place where you will pray on a daily basis. A place free from distractions.
- Take water with you into your prayer time.
- Take your Bible with you into your prayer time. Bible reading may be included either before or after prayer. As you are praying, you may also need your Bible for those moments when the Holy Spirit will draw your thoughts to particular passages.
