Whatever God has promised you, the seeds are already within you. Water them, nurture them, and don’t let anyone uproot them through unbelief. In other words, begin thanking God for what He’s going to do in your life.
But being chosen by God doesn’t mean you can just go and do your own thing. Paul says, ‘Should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of His wonderful grace? Of course not!
Often people have to experience the pain of what’s wrong before they appreciate the wisdom of what’s right. So when it comes to helping people—be discerning.
You’ll always have to deal with fear in one form or another. And your fears will be different at different seasons of life. Once you accept that, you can make progress
Some people make gods with their hands and worship them. But idols are not able to do anything that God can do. They can’t think, feel or act. But the Lord in Heaven knows all about you, thinks of you and loves you.
If Jesus, the Son of God, found it necessary to pray, ‘Not My will but Yours be done,’wouldn’t it be wise for us to pray those words too—every day?

- Schedule a daily time for prayer.
- Prepare a set-apart place where you will pray on a daily basis. A place free from distractions.
- Take water with you into your prayer time.
- Take your Bible with you into your prayer time. Bible reading may be included either before or after prayer. As you are praying, you may also need your Bible for those moments when the Holy Spirit will draw your thoughts to particular passages.
