The Latest Daily Word
I take authority over this day and I command any power that wants to manipulate the sun, the moon and the wind against my life to be consumed by the fire of the Holy Ghost.
Fasting Is for Everyone Perhaps you’re thinking, “I still don’t know how fasting can really be for me.” According to the words of Jesus, it is the duty of every disciple and every believer to fast.
The three duties of every Christian are giving, praying, and fasting. Solomon, when writing the books of wisdom for Israel, made the point that a cord, or rope, braided with three strands is not easily broken.
Since there are so many misconceptions about it, I first want to clarify what fasting—biblical fasting—is not.
So go eat your food and enjoy it; drink your wine and be happy, because that is what God wants you to do.
When you testify, it gives honour to God and He is more delighted to bless you again and again.

Some levels of giving are effortless, while others make us uneasy. Sooner or later we all hit a wall called fear, and unless you recognise it you’ll never be able to break through it.
GUIDELINES FOR PERSONAL PRAYER SESSIONS
- Schedule a daily time for prayer.
- Prepare a set-apart place where you will pray on a daily basis. A place free from distractions.
- Take water with you into your prayer time.
- Take your Bible with you into your prayer time. Bible reading may be included either before or after prayer. As you are praying, you may also need your Bible for those moments when the Holy Spirit will draw your thoughts to particular passages.
